
Process
For each project, I begin by meeting with my client to build a custom marketing plan for their specific business goals. I take the role of creative director, project manager and chief designer, and I put together a custom team of other consultants, programmers and designers to work with me. My client gets my cell number, and I'm the sole point of contact.
Money
If you're looking for agency-quality work at freelancer rates, you've hit the jackpot. If you're waiting for that pair of shoes to go on sale at Wal-Mart, I'm not your guy. Most Roundup Digital custom web projects fall in the $5k - $50k range.
My operating costs are low. I'm not paying for a fancy building, or a front-desk girl, or a guy watering the plants. My building is my home office (you're welcome to drop by), I am my own front-desk girl, and the lady downstairs waters the plants for free. Basically that means my clients end up saving a lot of money.
History
I have over 25,000 hours of professional experience working on web-related marketing campaigns. I've worked on projects for Wyndham Hotels, the Economist, STA Travel, AOL, Yahoo!, Southwest Airlines, the United States Military, and the United States Naval Academy. I've done consulting for film crews, political action committees, and professional athletes.
Education
I have a PhD in Web Design from Harvard. No, I'm kidding, but I do have a degree in Mandarin Chinese from the University of Texas at Austin, and I can get around OK in Spanish and French. And the 4 hours of free time I have each year I spend dabbling in songwriting and accessory design.
